
MARGARET DURIEZ
Founder
Ms. Duriez was born in West Palm Beach and grew up in Florida and on a family farm in Pennsylvania. After graduating from Columbia University, she lived in India, where she became a vegetarian, studied yoga and meditation, and met her husband Franck Duriez. The pair shared an interested in organic food and sustainable living and started a family farm to supplement their families vegetarian lifestyle. With the help of a great team, she grew the family farm into Lox Farms an organic principles-based community supported agricultural provider with thousands of consumers in Palm Beach and Martin Counties. She has also operated a fermentation laboratory and conducted local farm to table operations.
Ms. Duriez is the co-founder of Fresh Rx which aims to narrow the gap between nutrition, health, and the treatment of disease through an innovative farm-to-hospital program.

DR. MARSHALL STONE
Co-Founder
Medical Director of Pediatric Surgery at Jupiter Medical Center
Dr Stone trained at Johns Hopkins Hospital. As he developed his surgical practice, he observed the impact of food, movement, and psychology upon children’s recovery after an operation. In response, more than a decade ago, he co-founded Golden Spiral Foundation, providing Yoga classes to pediatric patients in the hospital. Children learn relaxation techniques to manage pain and relieve anxiety while recovering from surgery and chronic illness.
More recently, he joined Margaret Duriez to create FreshRx, an initiative that provides fresh organic fruits and vegetables at no cost to food insecure or low-income adults and children.
As co-founder, his goal is to introduce the correlation between nutrition and pro-active wellness.

A.J. AZQUETA
FreshRx Project Coordinator
AJ is a passionate environmentalist focusing on regional agriculture and urban gardening. His education in Environmental Studies, love for nature and deep roots in generations of farming, has given him an understanding of the need to work towards food systems that are mutually beneficial to the environment and the people. Since the age of 18 AJ has worked in various Florida based farming and gardening projects including urban farms, residential and school/university gardens, organic nursery services, farmers markets, farm to hospital programs and managing 5 acres of field & greenhouse production. Currently, AJ runs the FreshRx Kids program at local schools and after school programs bringing gardening to the elementary and high school students. The program gives kids of all ages the opportunity to grow food from seed and experience the incredible connection to their food, health and the nature that surrounds them.

IVEY LEIDY
Certified Health and Wellness Coach and Certified Gut Health Expert
Ivey helps guide clients to a healthy and functional lifestyle that’s realistic, while achieving their goals. Through sharing her nutritional knowledge, recipes and health tips, clients are able to find their own power through education and develop a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.

JOHN PISER
Catering & Event Manager
John is an active supporter of locally grown produce and is committed to nutritional healing. He studied Food and Resource Economics at the University of Florida. He has a broad scope of past experiences from work at the USDA’s Natural Resource Conservation Service, beekeeping, handcrafting local artisan foodstuffs, and working local farm events and farmer’s markets.
The past year and a half John has prepared, grown, harvested, processed, packed, and delivered produce for Fresh Rx and Lox Farms. He also served as event coordinator for Fresh Rx dinners, after working at the Biltmore Estate and at far to table events around South Florida over the past four years. John has also been teaching Fresh Rx Kids gardening classes at the Palm Beach Day Academy and The Greene School for the past two years.

JOANNA PELUSO
Healthier Jupiter
Healthier Jupiter, in partnership with Jupiter Medical Center is dedicated to bringing the greater Jupiter community together to encourage each person to live their healthiest life. Healthier Jupiter is part of the Palm Health Foundation’s Healthier Together Initiative, a long-term, community-driven approach to solving a community’s complex healthcare issues.
Joanna Peluso is Healthier Jupiter’s Project Director. She is very passionate about elevating community voice and ideas to work toward better health. A long time vegetarian, Joanna is obsessed with vegetables, trying new recipes and supporting local farms. She is dedicating her time with Healthier Jupiter to promote and ensure opportunities for healthy eating and active living for all in the Jupiter community.

ALLIE CORNELL
PROGRAM MANAGER
Allie is a South Florida native and lover of all plants. She has been committed to supporting locally grown fruits and vegetables for the past eight years. Her journey in farming began in Maui working on a 50 acre certified organic fruit farm. Allie went on to work at a nursery growing and maintaining a wide variety of plants. Her experience also includes Florida based farming and gardening projects including urban farms, residential, school and university gardens, organic nursery services, farmers markets, farm to hospital programs, and field production.
Allie joined the Lox Farms team in 2018 and has been an integral part of Fresh Rx since its inception. She prepared, grew, harvested, processed, packed, and delivered produce for Fresh Rx and Lox Farms.

ISABEL TONELLI
Nutritionist
Isabel Tonelli is a health-supportive chef and a culinary and nutrition educator. She is passionate about helping people restore health and balance in their lives by sharing how healthy food choices have the power to prevent disease and promote wellness.
With Restore, Renew, Revive as her mantra of inspiration, Isabel launched Isabel’s Kitchen to provide plant-based cleanses, prepared meals, and lifestyle products that support a positive and healthy mindset. Isabel also has a health coaching practice in Manhattan and she also teaches group and private cooking classes in Manhattan and at her farm in Pine Plains NY.
Isabel is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is a Board Certified Holistic Counselor. She is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and studied Food Therapy with renowned expert Dr. Annemarie Colbin. Isabel received her degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She completed her culinary training at The Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC.

JULES ARON
Mixologist
Jules Aron is a holistic health coach, wellness mixologist and 4x best selling author of Zen and Tonic: Savory and Fresh Cocktails for the Enlightened Drinker, Vegan Cheese, Simple, Delicious, Plant-Based Cheese Recipes, Nourish and Glow and Fresh and Pure. She holds a Masters degree from New York University, is a Certified Yoga, Qigong & Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, and is a Certified Health & Nutrition Coach from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Aron has been featured in The New York Post, The Today Show, Women's Health, Organic Spa, Well + Good and MindBodyGreen, and is a regular contributor to Thrive and Woman's World Magazines as well as other national fitness and wellness magazines.
